Description

I am a psychologist trained at the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL). I also followed a training to become a psychotherapist, using the evidence-based approach. Evidence-based psychotherapy seeks to maximize efficacy by using a mix of interventions based on the best available scientific evidence. In practice, I mostly rely on techniques taken from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and person-centered therapy. I also make use of my experiences gained while working in psychiatry (CHU Brugmann, CHU Saint-Pierre) and with students (UCL's students' help service). I can help you for the following issues:

In order to offer therapies in which I am properly trained, I do not treat children, couples, families, people with and autistic spectrum disorder (TSA), mental disability or severe and non-stabilized psychiatric disorder. I do, however, offer therapies for patient with a severe, stabilized, psychiatric disorder if followed by a psychatrist in parallel. I don't do any kind of psychological or neuropsychological testing (ex: IQ, dementia, ADHD...).
